 PHYSICAL DISABILITY SUPPORT 

Arthritis, physical disabilities, 

and age-related conditions are some of the few circumstances that prevent patients from caring for themselves. Our caregivers can assist you with daily tasks such as mobility, eating, exercising, and grooming. 

In-Home Respite Care Services

Respite care provides short-term, temporary relief from caregiving responsibilities. Many times, a little bit of help goes a long way, whether it’s the freedom to run a few errands, pick the kids up from school, or simply take a much-needed break. Our respite care services give family caregivers some time for themselves and for other personal and family matters, and it’s available for both recurring and on-demand needs.

Bringing professional respite caregivers into the house can allow loved ones to remain in their most comfortable and familiar surroundings without sacrificing safety or disrupting the care plans prescribed by doctors.

 Pressure Relief

Mobility issues can lead to pressure sores, decubitus ulcers and, in severe cases, the need for wound care. Aspire Home Caring, caregivers are trained to provide pressure relief every 15 minutes for wheelchair-bound patients, and to turn bed-bound patients every two hours to prevent complications caused by prolonged immobility. Our CNAs are also trained in the transfer of patients using Hoyer lifts and slide boards, and use the proper techniques to help patients avoid injuries and falls during transport.

Travel and transportation can be challenging for individuals with disabilities. But, for many, travel is an important part of their lives, either for business or for pleasure. Aspire Home Caring provides travel companion care to help make travel accessible for people with special needs, enabling them to experience more in life.

Disability Home Care Services

Individuals living with physical disabilities or special needs have unique care requirements. In many cases, mobility is limited and skilled care is required. Aspire home Caring provides comprehensive therapy programs, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Respitory Therapy, and active and passive Range of Motion exercises to improve mobility and develop capabilities.
